i'm always amazed at how calm and chill men are on their big day...here is a glimpse at the guys hanging out and relaxing on brandon and diandra's wedding day. you can tell these are a tight group of friends, and what an interesting bunch they are! thanks to my second photog (my husband) for capturing these!

it was only a few weeks ago that i shot this couple's engagement session, and then their big day quickly arrived. over the weekend, i photographed diandra and brandon's FABULOUS wedding! it was full of love, beauty, laughter, fun, and emotion. even i got choked up a couple of times, and im supposed to be unaffected as the photographer...yeah, right. ;o)

while i am sorting though all the photos and getting to relive that grand day, heres a sneak preview. and after experiencing the rest of the wedding, maybe you will fall in love with them, as i did!

rebecca and her pups

i meant to blog this session earlier in the week, but it's been crazy busy after the holiday weekend. tonight, i finally had a chance to share the time i spent with my friend rebecca and her boys. a while back, rebecca mentioned to me that one of her dogs (woodruff) was getting old and she wanted to have some pictures taken with both her dogs, woodruff and rufus. woodruff (featured here) is eleven years old and so so mellow. he was easy to photograph and gave me the most adorable looks. rufus, whom rebecca found at work, is a scardy cat. he was terrified of my camera and would run and hide under a blanket when i tried to photograph him. we think he was abused before she found him. he's afraid of everything, and i do mean everything! we had to get him outdoors in order to distract him from seeing the camera. anyway, i had a lovely time hanging out with them and getting to know her sweeties! here are a few of my favorites from our session.

brandon and diandra engaged!

over the weekend, i shot this adorable couple's engagement session. i have to say, i had a blast hanging out with them. they constantly made me laugh and as you can see, they have a great time together!

when we first met a few months ago, diandra told me that they spend a lot of time in the city. both are music lovers and love to hang out and go see live bands. in fact, their common interests are what brought them together. their love of music and bands led them to long conversations at work, then to a blossoming friendship. eventually, their friendship turned into love. and what could be a better life partner than your best friend?

so these are a few of my favorites from our time together in the city of angels. check back for updates as i add more this weekend! thanks for a fabulous time, guys! you both were so natural in front of the camera that it made my job easy! cant wait for the wedding next month!

turning 4!

our friend gabriel turned four this past weekend! ive known this cute little guy since he was almost two. how time has flown by...and how he's grown.
and what a fun party. i especially enjoyed the breaking of the pinata! it was hilarious...at one point, it got decapitated after a few hits and had to get reattached so everyone else could have a chance! here are just a few from gabriel's special day. hope you enjoy them!
